Review Diamond Eyes - Deftones

Hace unos dias me tope con que hubo un leak del nuevo album de Deftones, el cual esta planeado para q salga a la venta el proximo 18 de mayo, generalmente siempre hay algun leak de los albumes pero unos cuantos dias antes, no dos meses antes :p La banda ha estado dando probaditas del album, pero con esto se arruina todo, ya que muchos ya escuchamos el album completito.

Que les puedo decir, la verdad es q me gusto mucho, creo me gusto mas q el pasado (Saturday night wrist), que tambien tiene lo suyo, pero como q ese es mas experimental que este, en este hay de todo un poco, canciones tranquilas, canciones con un muy buen ritmo y canciones pesadas, para mi la mejor y la mas pesada es sin duda Rocket Skates, una excelente cancion, con un tono bastante pesado.

Para este album Chino dejo d lado un poco los gritos a los que nos tiene acostumbrados, si los hay pero en menor cantidad que en trabajos anteriores, en cuanto a las letras es justo como Chino las describio hace unos meses en una entrevista diciendo "I love songs where I can totally take myself out of being human. I can sing about really odd things, and they don't necessarily have to pertain to me at all." sin duda alguna lo logro.

Despues de todo lo que ha pasado con la banda desde el inicio de Eros, el accidente de Chi, la decision de seguir, reescribir el album con un nuevo integrante, sin duda alguna se nota cierta madurez de la banda, se escucha, a pesar de que tiene algunas similitudes con trabajos anteriores, como el homonimo, White pony o Adrenaline, al escucharlo completo se siente el cambio, llega a ser algo elegante, y claro que se nota el aporte de Sergio a la banda, Ha de ser muy dificil suplir a Chi, pero el lo logro bastante bien. En ningun momento nadie se escucha aburrido ni nada por el estilo al contrario parece q se divierten tocando como en los viejos tiempos. El dia que Chi lo escuche estara orgulloso de lo que han creado en su ausencia y para el.

Muy buen album supero mis espectativas, creo q si a mucha gente lo dejo de convencer con SNW retomara su gusto con este album muy bien trabajado, muy buenas melodias, como lo dije antes te lleva desde ponerte algo triste con algunas canciones, pero te lleva poco a poco a rockear con todo.

Solo puedo decir q me encanto, los vere el proximo 24 de abril en el Foro Sol, lastima que solo tocaran Rocket Skates de este album, pero podre rockear y sacar todo con lo old school, pero espero regresen pronto tocando canciones de este album.

Asi que si lo quieren escuchar busquenlo, ya esta por todos lados, pero cuando salga a la venta comprenlo.

Hace unas semanas Deftones nos dejo descargar una de las canciones de su nuevo album que podremos comprar el 18 de mayo, esta cancion es Rocket Skates, la cual ya habian tocado un par de veces en vivo. Tambien ya sacaron el video oficial de la cancion Para mi y muchas personas esta es una gran cancion!!!

Hoy han revelado una nueva cancion con el mismo titulo del album, Diamond Eyes, una cancion mas tranquila que Rocket Skates, pero muy buena Yeah!!! \,,/

Para todos en Mexico recuerden q la banda estara visitando el DF el 24 de abril para el Vive Latino!!!

Review: Coldplay en Mexico 07/03/10

Jaja creanlo o no, nos lanzamos a ver a Coldplay otra vez luego de haberlos visto una noche antes, no se como paso, pero en la comida familiar para festejar a mi sis d alguna forma salio el chisme y a las 6 pm salimos de Toluca sin boletos al Foro Sol jaja. Todo inicio mal xq el plan era comprar boletos en Toluca e irnos, pero ya no nos quisieron vender, luego en la carretera hubo un accidente asi q ibamos a vuelta de rueda. Asi q decidimos q en observatorio mis hermanas se irian en metro para llegar rapido, comprar los boletos en lo q llegaba. Y asi fue, pero ya en el camino y la prisa una pequeña distraccion hizo q chocara a una camioneta jaja pero por suerte no le paso nada a ninguno y vaya q se escucho fuerte :s

Atrapado en el trafico me hablan mis hermanas diciendo q ya compraron los boletos, los mas baratos claro :p asi q ya mas tranquilo llegue a estacionarme al Palacio de los Rebotes, aunque me costo encontrar lugar, llegando me tuve q subir al metro xq me iba a tardar muchisimo en ir caminando, la sorpresa es q no tenia dinero jaja todo lo tenian mis hermanas asi q tuve q pedir un poco ya en la fila del metro jaja.

Llegamos a ver unas 3 o 4 canciones de Bat For Lashes lo cual fue muy chido, pero un acomodador me dijo q si me llevaba a mi lugar, le dije q no tenia cambio mas q 5 pesos para darle y me dice no joven de 20 para arriba jaja me rei en su cara y mejor fuimos a buscar los lugares. Ya sabran viendo como la gente se pelea por los lugares, un señor pedisimo q no pudia ni subir las escaleras etc etc.

El show fue practicamente el mismo q el primer concierto, se escucho el vals y se apagaron las luces para iniciar el show. Que les puedo decir, si se pierde un poco la sorpresa al ya saber q canciones van a tocar, sin embargo este lo senti un poco mas melancolico o no se si era yo jaja, pero en Fix You estuve a punto de soltar unas lagrimas jaja y ya no aguante en The hardest part y es q esa cancion no la conocia hasta hace 1 o 2 semanas y dejenme decirle q me queda perfecta jaja asi q ahora si no logre aguantar y salieron un par de lagrimas, pero es tan raro q te hagan pasar de lagrimas a felicidad en 5 segundos al pasar a Viva la Vida, una gran cancion!!!

No se si fue el lugar q tenia pero el sabado me queje xq senti el volumen bastante bajo, pero estaba en una zona alta de las gradas, el domingo eso cambio, el volumen fue justo como queria y aunque estabamos hasta atras se ve bastante bien. Otra cosa q cambio fue la gente, el domingo estuvo mucho mas aguada, mucha gente sentada :S la ola con los celulares estuvo muy chafa, y si el show duro un poco menos aunque fue el mismo setlist q el sabado.

Nunca habia hecho eso de ir a dos conciertos de la misma banda en 2 dias jaja, pero estuvo bastante chido, fue especial xq fue el primer concierto que solo vamos mis hermanas y yo, asi q estuvo muy chido.

Review: Coldplay en Mexico 06/03/10

El segundo concierto en la semana, Coldplay regreso a Mexico y esta vez no nos lo podiamos perder, y menos siendo el cumple d mi sis :D en esta ocacion llenando el Foro Sol.

Llegando al Foro vimos unos bonitos globotoes q la banda puso arriba d todas las lamparas del foro, todas con diferentes imagenes, los cuales ya en el concierto encendian y se veian muy chidos. Arriba del escenario habian como unas lamparotas en forma d bola bastante padres jaja en las q despues se mostraban videos. Despues de las 8 las luces se apagaron para q tocara Le Baron, banda q no me gusto mucho, como a las 9 unas chicas llamadas Bat For Lashes salieron al escenario para tocar 9 canciones muy chidas, su musica es algo extraña, se me hicieron como Bjork, pero me gusto mucho, ahora soy fan.

Despues de las 10 en la espera d Coldplay escuchabamos cambios d generos bastante radicales en tre cancion y cancion, pero de pronto llego un vals :S si, un vals, todo mundo moviendo los brazos d un lado a otro, cuando se apagan las luces y todos enloquecieron, aparecio un video del mundo haciendo un zoom llegando al Foro Sol cuando inicia Life in Technicolor mientras la banda salia al escenario, Violet Hill dio inicio del repertorio, la gente aun en shock no canto con todo esa, pero inicio Clocks y todos a brincar, llegaron los clasicos In my place y una en la q crei q lloraria jaja pero no, Yellow momento en el q enormes globos amarillos se pasearon por toda la pista del foro, llegaron algunas recientes Glass of Water, 42, Fix you una de las mejores de la noche, algo q no me gusto fue el arreglo q le hicieron a God put a smile upon your face y a Talk, aparte de todo no las tocaron completas, eso no me gusto nada :S pero bueno seguimos con una q Cris dedico a Frida Kahlo y personalmente en estos momentos me queda bien jaja muy buena cancion The Hardest Part.
Un Cris Martin corriendo y saltando por todo el escenario como niño chiquito disfrutando del show, mostrandonos su buen español en todo momento, siguieron unos compaces que hiceron q cantaramos OOO OO O Viva la Vida!!! q buena cancion, siguio Lost en un momento tranquilo. Llego el momento en el q bajaron del escenario todos y poco a poco llegaban a la mitad de la pista del foro, en donde se dividen las dos zonas de la pista y habia una pequeña plataforma la cual de pronto fue rodeada por todos ahi abajo, donde interpretaron 3 canciones y nos hicieron hacer una ola con los celulrares, la cual se vio muy muy chida :D Bajaron de esa plataforma para desaparecer por un momento mientras se escuchaba un arreglo de Viva la vida y seguiamos coreandola.
Regresaron para interpretar otras q me gustaron muchisimo, Politik y Lovers in Japan donde volaron y volaron mariposas de papel. Agradecieron a todos por haber ido, y salieron una vez mas, claro q queriamos mas y mas gritando, chiflando, aplaudiendo, pisoteando las gradas pediamos mas, cuando salien por ultima vez para deleitarnos con The Scientist y Life in technicolor II al final de la cancion inicio la pirotecnia asi q tuvimos de todo :D

Un show donde se vio de todo, claro parejitas por todos lados, familias completas, niñas nice, chavas muuuuy guapas, gente sola, acompañada, d todo, todos disfrutamos de un gran momento en el cual te olvidas de todo, o casi todo, para disfrutar de esos pocos momentos q se presentan en la vida. Saliendo del show nos regalaron el cd prometido hace unos dias :D y pues ahora esperemos si de verdad de hace el DVD para comprarlo :D

Poco menos de 9 meses tuvieron q pasar para volver a ver a la banda mas grande del metal, no importaba donde fuera tenia q estar ahi, y asi fue, tuve q hacer escala en queretaro para ir directo a estadio, pero claro tenia q pasar por algunas dificultades jaja y es q el camion del Tour salia d Galerias, pero faltando 10 min d la salida me entero q no era el galerias donde estaba, Desde cuando Queretaro tiene mas de un Galerias :S pensando q no llegaba tome taxi y si alcance el camion dentro de los 10 min d tolerancia ja, gracias a mi madre x hacer algunas llamadas y al taxista x ir en chinga jaja.

Despues de un laaargo viaje a Guadalajara llegamos alrededor de las 7.45 al estadio 3 d marzo gracias al maldito trafico de Guadalajara, llegando no podia creer q solo habia una sola entrada para toda la gente de cancha y su "organizacion" se volvio desmadre, pero logre entrar como a las 8.15 y q estaba terminando d tocar Mastodon :S a quienes casi ni pelaron, pero lo q alcance a escuchar tocaron muy chido. Aaaa todo carisimo, una chela en 40 y 90 :S refresco en 30, pizzita en 40 q tuve q comprar xq no habia comido y no iba a aguantar jaja. Poco antes de las 9 inicio la batalla entre los d pista contra los d gradas q llego un momento en q solo se veian botellas, cajas d pizza, vasos, mentadas de madres, etc etc volando por donde estaba jaja.

9.10 se apagaron algunas luces para calmar la batalla d basura y 9.15 se apagaron completamente enloqueciendo a las 30mil personas q estabamos ahi, cuando inicia el ya mitico intro Ecstasy of gold, para dar paso a Creeping Death, todos a brincar y gritar Die Die Die, no podia seguir una mejor q For Whom the Bell Tools, le siguieron dos q tocan poco, Through the never y The Four Hoursemen. Lo siguiente fue James acercarce a la guitarra acustica para tocar Faith to Black, continuaron con algunas del ultimo album Death Magnetic, That Was Just Your Life, The End of the Line, un break de este album y James preguntando si queriamos algo pesado, xq no creia q aguantaramos algo tan pesado, todos contestamos q si, asi q nos dijo q esperaba q no murieramos y Sad but true, despues pregunto q si teniamos el album y todos YEAH jaja se empezo a reir xq no habia dicho cual, pergunto si nos gusto el Death Magnetic y algun babozo de enfrente le dijo q no, asi q le pregunto Whats wrong with you?? jaja, y le dijo q harian q le gustara, para seguir con mi cancion, Broken beat and scared, terminando con este album Judas Kiss.

Seguirira sin duda una de las mejores canciones de la historia y un gran show de explosiones con pirotecnia, ONE, un gran espectaculo, casi sin pausa le siguio MAAAASTEEER!!! Master of Puppets, Battery, continuando con la melancolia con Nothing Else Matters y terminar con mas pirotecnia y Enter Sadman, salieron del escenario y todos OE OE OE OE META-LLICA!!!

Despues de un rato regresan al escenario tocando el intro de Eye of the beholder y todos coreandolo, pero ellos pararon, nosotros no, por mas señas q no hacian para q nos callaramos seguimos y seguimos jaja, hasta q se empezaron a reir todos jaja, muy buen momento, seguiria un gran cierre del show, nada mas y nada menos con Breadfan y sigo sin creerlo pero WHIPLASH!!!! terminado esta agradecieron, pero todos pediamos Seek and Destroy, de pronto James dijo Oooo there's a little girl!!! y su una niñita como d 8 años jaja le pregunto q si queria otra y la niña muy emocionada le decia q si jaja muy linda la niñita, pero si se mancharon sus papas como la tenian ahi en la bola jaja, asi q accedieron a la peticion d la niñita para terminar con una lluvia de cerveza, todos los q tenian la hicieron volar por todos lados SEEK AND DESTROY!!!!

Poco mas d 2 horas duro el show, muy bueno aunque creo q falto The day that never comes, el sonido estaba raro, rebotaba mucho, eso no me latio, el estadio esta muy chiquito, por lo q veia bastante bien y mas con esa pantalla q llevan ellos. Quiero decir q la gente d Guadalajara me desepciono un poco xq eran muy aguados, muchos d brazos cruzados solo escuchando :S cerca de mi habian unos vatos q estaba roqueando chido y terminaron compartiendo cigarro y chela conmigo jaja buena onda los vatos. Sinceramente me gusto mas el show d aquel 6 d junio, pero bueno d este me encanto q tocaran Faith to Black y Whiplash :D claro q todas las demas estuvieron muuuy buenas.

Al parecer Mexico y Latino America les ha gustado mucho, lo han expresado y Lars prometio q volverian pronto, asi q el dia q regresen ahi estare :D

Aaaa mi viaje d regeso fue algo largo aunque me la pase inconciente la mayor parte jaja, salimos d Guadalajara a la 1 am llegamos a Queretaro a las 5.30, el camion a Toluca salio a las 7 y llegue aqui a las 10 :D
